Membership

Membership is not a requirement to engage at Grace Community Church. Rather, it is an intentional expression of one's commitment to furthering the mission of Jesus and through the mission of Grace, together. We hope for those that call Grace Community Church their home church, that you would consider becoming a member.

STEPS OF MEMBERSHIP

New Here Coffee is the first step in Membership. We encourage you to attend to learn more about our vision, mission and our beliefs here at Grace. Meet our leadership team and staff, enjoy coffee and breakfast on us, ask any questions you may have, and learn about some next steps you can take towards connecting and engaging more at Grace.

From there, you will have the foundational information about Grace Community Church and what it looks like to be a member.

Mission and Vision

Members of Grace commit to the vision of Grace and the mission of our local church as defined in Scripture.

Our Vision is to Unleash Grace to everyone in Tempe and beyond! We Exist To G.R.A.C.E.:

  • GROW Richly
  • REACH Intentionally
  • ADORE Passionately
  • CONNECT Authentically
  • ENGAGE Wholeheartedly

This is demonstrated through followers of Jesus through the Great Commission and the Great Commandment:

  • THE GREAT COMMISSION
"Jesus came and told his disciples, "I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all of the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age." (Matthew 28:18-20)

  • THE GREAT COMMANDMENT
"Teacher, which is the most important commandment in the law of Moses?" Jesus replied, "You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: "Love your neighbor as yourself. The entire law and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments." (Matthew 22:36-40)
